They provide loans, leases, risk management and other financial services throughout 144 counties in Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Based in the upper Midwest, Compeer Financial exists to champion the hopes and dreams of rural America.

Covering Wisconsin
Covering Wisconsin is a federally certified, state-licensed navigator agency. They are a program of Extension at the University of Wisconsin- Madison. Their mission is to connect Wisconsin residents with health insurance coverage and other programs to support their health.

Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic, University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School
The Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic provides free legal services to nascent entrepreneurs and early stage companies through the work of law students supervised by faculty and private sector attorneys. Since the creation of the Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic, they have helped thousands of founders, creators and inventors start innovative businesses.

NEW Food Forum
NEW Food Forum is a New Leaf Foods initiative consisting of food and health businesses and organizations partnering to identify the entities in our working local food system and strengthen the relationships within it. 

North Central Region Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE)
North Central SARE is one of four regional offices that run the SARE program, a nationwide grants and education program to advance sustainable innovation to American agriculture. North Central SARE strengthens communities, increases producers’ economic viability, and improves the environment through grants and education.

Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC)
Founded in 1912, NWTC is a nationally-recognized, two-year public college, serving nearly 23,000 individuals annually. Focused on student success and the economic vitality of our communities, they transform, strengthen, and inspire the people of northeast Wisconsin and beyond.

State of Wisconsin – Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP)

U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development
USDA Rural Development supports rural prosperity in Wisconsin by investing in modern infrastructure such as high-speed internet and water and waste treatment systems. They help eligible rural Wisconsinites buy or rent affordable housing and partner to build or improve essential community facilities. USDA Rural Development boosts rural economic development by funding technical assistance for small business owners and entrepreneurs, helping them design robust business plans, find new markets, and promote their goods and services. They also help eligible businesses and manufacturers expand or improve, and we support energy programs that finance renewable systems for agriculture and industry.

Wisconsin Indigenous Economic Development Corporation (WIEDC)
The WIEDC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and a coalition of non-profit Native Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs). Their mission is to expand Native economic development by building the financial sovereignty of Native individuals, families, Native-owned businesses, Tribal enterprises and communities in Wisconsin. Working together, WIEDC’s Members collaborate and leverage resources to maximize access to loans, training and counseling to best serve the enrolled Members of the 11 Federally recognized Tribes in Wisconsin – both on and off reservation communities.

Wisconsin Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at UW-Green Bay
The SBDC at UW-Green Bay helps entrepreneurs succeed at any stage. They offer no-cost, confidential consulting and business education across a wide region. The Wisconsin Small Business Development Center is a nationally accredited network offering consulting, education, data and connections.

Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation (WWBIC)
The WWBIC opens the doors of opportunity by providing underserved individuals who are interested in starting, strengthening or expanding businesses with access to critical resources such as responsible financial products and quality business and personal finance training. They focus on individuals who face barriers in accessing business financing and training support, including women, people of color, veterans, and lower-wealth individuals.
