Farms are unique in many ways. Our farms are often our homes or the places where our family members gather to live, work, and play. Balancing off-farm income and benefits with the needs of the farm can be a big piece of that puzzle. This interactive workshop will explore one of the “Hidden Challenges on the Farm” and help participants connect health care needs and insurance to farm and family well-being, manage health insurance as part of farm risk management, navigate insurance options, and budget for coverage.(This workshop begins at 1:45 PM and ends at 2:30 PM)
