“Making Money with Your Food Truck” is a live Zoom webinar which took place on April 8 at 2pm. Extension Specialist Addison Vang and the owner of Mi Mì Café food truck in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, shared the story of starting and growing a mobile food business and advice from a successful food truck operator.

Mi Sullivan, Mi Mì Café
When Mi Sullivan moved to Eau Claire from California in 2016, she saw a need for authentic Vietnamese food in the area and started her food truck in 2019 to fill that gap. As the co-owner and chef of Mi Mì Café food truck, the only Vietnamese food truck in the Chippewa Valley area, Mi hopes to introduce Vietnamese food in a more casual way. Her food truck offers services ranging from private catering and work lunches to public events like farmer’s markets.

Addison Vang, Community Development Educator
Addison has been with Extension since 2021. He is passionate about creating inclusive communities supporting historically marginalized and underrepresented communities. Addison lives in Eau Claire and loves being close to the driftless area and access to the rivers and lakes throughout the Chippewa Valley.
